    Reference Services

    • Jersey Clicks offered by the New Jersey State Library- can search multiple magazine databases, use online chat reference and receive homework help during after school hours through tutor.com
    • Morris County Library Reference- access to resources on popular topics and the option to Ask a Librarian questions
    • Historical Archive Room - includes a collection of handwritten ledgers from the 1800s, property deeds, photos, genealogy files and old newspaper clippings about local people and events.


    Internet

    The library has five computers available for public use with access to the Internet, MicroSoft Word, and the databases listed below. Items with a link provided are also available from your home computer (library card number required). Two computers with Reading Readiness software and games for young children are available in the Children's Room. These two computers do not offer internet access.

    Wireless Internet Access
    Wireless Internet access is available to anyone with a laptop and a wireless networking card.

    • EBSCOhost-- includes Consumer Reports, NoveList Plus, newspapers and magazines, Searchasaurus for K-8, Literary Reference Center, and health information

    • BookLetters-- Learn about the hottest new titles through BookLetters! Sign-up for e-mail delivery of new title lists (print or audio) and newsletters in the subject areas that interest you most.


    • CLIP-- Free medical information service provided by Atlantic Health System Science Libraries. Expert medical librarians will help provide accurate, up-to-date resources on conditions, diseases, procedures and research.

    • Internet Public Library-- Reliable subject collections with special links for students including U.S. Presidents, state information, science projects and much more.

    • Great Websites for Kids -- The American Library Association's resources for homework such as fact guides for history, animals, biographies, and science.

    • High School Ace -- a resource center for teens. Includes subject guides, a translator tool, current events and college information

    • K12 Academics -- information for anyone involved in K-12 education. Includes information on disorders and disabilities, resources for homeschoolers and school directories

    • Education Atlas-- resources for educators including lesson plans, support organizations and higher education information

    • ProQuest--offers full text access to many publications and the ability to search scholarly journals

    • Reference USA* -- can find businesses and business profiles through Jersey Clicks. Log in with your barcode and select the "Home" tab from the menu bar. Scroll down to bottom right corner (Resources A-Z) and select Reference USA

    • New Jersey Legal Forms--provides thousands of free legal forms as well as instructional videos and articles for anyone preparing their own legal forms

    • Tuition Funding Sources--free resource that is a good source of information for high school and college students and their parents. This website is one of the largest databases of scholarships in the world
