Memorial, Honorarium and Other Gifts

A gift to the library is a thoughtful way to remember a special person or occasion, or to help build and expand the Library's collection of books and materials for public use.

Library’s Gift Program
How the program works:
You contact the Jan Perrier, Library Director or fill out a memorial gift form available on-line or at the circulation desk.
You may send the completed form to the library to the attention of Jan Perrier.
Jan discusses with you how much you would like to spend, what topic would be appropriate for the person being honored, and what kind of material you would like to donate. (In addition to books, CD’s or DVD's may also be selected as a gift.)
A title is selected and ordered.
When the item arrives, a bookplate is affixed naming the donor and the honoree.
The Library sends a letter to the family of the person being honored indicating what was donated and who made the gift.
Jan contacts you about the final price of the item. (Checks are made out payable to "Mendham Borough Library".)
