Wine & Cheese Preview Book Sale
Monday August 4, 6PM-8PM

Our fantastic annual book sale just got even better. This year you can enjoy wine & cheese while snagging the best books before the official sale kicks off! A donation of $5 will allow you to sip your wine while you look and purchase the best of our used books!



The library will be holding our annual book sale Tuesday, August 5--Monday, August 21. All books remaining will then be sold at our popular Bag Sale from August 22-25. The book sale is held during regular library hours.




Lets READ This Summer!!
June 1-August 31

To celebrate summer reading we are offering a new program. For adults--check out 3 or more fiction/non fiction books at one time* and recieve a Free DVD coupon. For our younger readers, check out 10 or more picture books, easy readers or juvenile non-fiction OR 3 or more juvenile fiction or young adult books and get a Free DVD coupon*.

*Books must be checked out in the same transaction and must be books from Mendham Borough Library (InterLibraryLoans are not applicable for promotion).




Fall Yoga

One hour classses begin prompltly at 8:30AM
Tuesday session runs from September 9 to October 28.
The cost is $40 for the Tuesday session.
$8 per class will be welcomed if there is room.
2014 Release Form must be on file. Stop in at the library to find out more information or to sign up.

Notary Service Is Now Offered at the Library

The library now has a staff member who is a Public Notary. The service is free but PLEASE CALL AHEAD 973-543-4152 for availability. For more information on this service please click here.

Library is now offering library patrons access to the World Vital Records subscription research database. Access to family history records worldwide – including digitized newspapers, military, vital records, historical maps.

To start using Pronunciator, go to Pronunciator and REGISTER (email/library card number). Now look in your email, where you will receive an email with a temporary student ID and password. You may change it under your Account once you log in.

Love reading the current issue of magazines? We are pleased to announce the availability of Zinio for Libraries, the world’s largest newsstand to Mendham Borough Library card holders. Through our website, you will have unlimited multi-user access to complete 50 digital magazines titles, easily viewed on most Internet-enabled devices.

Friends of the Mendham Borough Library 2014 Membership Drive

Its time to renew or join the Friends of the Mendham Borough Library for 2014. Our Friends group raises money to support many of the library activities. Borough Best Sellers Program

You've just heard that Nora Roberts or James Patterson has a new book out but don't have time to get the library to place it on hold. Now you won't have to worry - join the Borough Best Sellers and we'll do it for you automatically. All you need to do is fill a form letting us know your favorite authors. We will place holds for up to 10 of your favorite authors. Click HERE to print out a paper copy and return to the library.
